Leadership a way I can take leadership in my learning is I can chose where a good place to sit is and if I need to get something done do it.

Leadership in my life I can show leadership by being responsible and honest.

Leadership In my family I can show leadership by doing my chores when I'm told and not complaining. Another act of leadership is taking responsibility in my own life. I could also be a leader by helping my mum in the things she does and on the farm. -Daren

Leadership A way I can have leadership in my friends is if I set a good example like when we play handball I can set an example and when I get out don't complain. Another example That I can set is if we play a game and we lose just say It's just a game and it doesn't mater.

This week was interesting because we got to go to NYLD which is a place schools go to learn about leadership. There were lots of speeches from people about different acts of leadership. I liked it because we did a fun game with a giant beach ball and we had to get it to the stage. Our team won and the way we made teams was half and half. We also had workshop Thursday. We watched a film about rugby that had some good leadership messages. Over all I liked this week. It was fun. -Daren

If my dog had super powers it would have invisibility flying and shape shifting I think that she would want these powers because she would like to go some where without anyone knowing

This week the timetables has change I think that it feels kind of weird. The time table is different because we have three breaks to play instead of two. I like the change because now the day goes faster for me witch is cool. It got a lot colder this term and I started wearing my beanie to school. This term is different witch makes it a cool term I like the change. This is a cool term.

I think that this is a lion because in the hint it says "I take lots of pride in what I do" witch is what a guy came and talked a bout lions being proud in what they do. I think this is a chameleon because chameleons eyes look like this and their skin looks like little rocks.  I think that this is a frog because it ha short legs and smooth back I think that this is a snake because their eyes are like cats with the pupal upwards and a yellowy colour in the hint it says that it's a reptile.                                                                             I think that this is a jumping spider because the jumping spider has two big front eyes and two eyes that are a little smaller then four small eyes.                ...

This Holiday I found out that I was moving to another farm in a place next to Rotarua witch is called Reparoa it's 30 min to the luge witch is cool.

The infield the learning that goes on in their is hands on and art. It helps you learn how to problem solve and how to have a growth mindset.

I was able to make new friends I made hot cross buns I learnt more maths in manahigh  I learn't how to type faster finally I got to do group activities

Dog that looks like a human The dogs name is yogi he is a one year old shihpoo who has the face of a human.It's unsettling but is also very cute. When Yogi's owner posted this photo on Facebook it went wild. the people noticed that there was something not right. I think it would be kind of weird and maybe creepy but I would still like him for the dog he is inside. (kiwi kid news)

Family kicked out of house from spider a family in S.T is kicked out of house from brown recluse spider that are extremely venomous. the family moved in 2007 and saw lots of spiders coming from the walls and ceiling. Last week it was dealt with bug bombs and gas to kill of the spiders. (Kiwi kid news) I've heard that the brown recluse spider's can sense bug bombs and other gas and will run somewhere out side until they sense the bug bombs and gas are gone. I would hate to have those spiders. Daren Jensen

Daddy long legs can survive with 5 legs Daddy long legs can pop there legs of with a thing called hemolymph they pop it off if someone or something grabs it they do this to give a distraction and run away. They can walk on 5 legs and after a day they can walk the same speed when they have eight legs.

White koala is born in Australia  A rare white koala is born in Australia zoo in Queensland. In science this is called the silvering gene where animals are born with white or pale fur. Just like baby teeth they will shed there fur and get normal grey fur. Koalas have been having a hard time surviving because loss of habitat disease and dog attacks. (Kiwikid news)

I think that my flop this week was that I was called the D word in a capture the flag game. my flip is that I get to feed silage after school in the tractor. Daren

Stink bugs There has been over 100 stink bugs found last week by the ministry of primary industries. The pest can eat a lot of new Zealand's fruit and vegetables. Stink bugs are sucking other insects to nothing. They use there proboscis to pierce the host plant in order to feed.The stink bugs can wipe out crops. They are called stink bugs because they produce a pungent smell that stinks. (Kiwi kid news) I think that if stink bugs invade New Zealand then there wont be as much fruit or vegetable (I know why they are called stink bugs because they are some of the worst insects.) 

I think that one of things I enjoyed was doge ball it was fun because we got the chance to do it and some other school may not be able to play doge ball .  I liked it when we were able to have P.E (public embarrassment) after we finish the things we need to. this week was fun thank you miss Coles. 😎😄😋😏  I like the manahigh game is fun because it's about math and game that involve math. Today there was a man named Lex he talked about our attitude and things like that. He told stories about things in his life and other people he knows. I think my favourite story was his BB gun story. Then he showed us some of the category's of who we are like the Otter, the Lion, Golden retriever, and Beaver. I was a golden retriever witch means it's hard for you to say no to someone. We did some activity's and my favourite activity was probably the one were you have to stay standing for some things or sit if you have another thing. He was here because he helped us learn what makes us us. One thing I learnt was that for me it's hard to say no. Another thing I learned was that there are actually not a lot of people who can roll there tongue.    Daren

My holidays were good I got to go to America and visit dad it was fun beside step sisters. The first thing I did when I got to Vancouver was got through the border and visited cousins for two days. Then we went home there was a party for my step mum. Then we went to my grandparents house. The first thing we did was let the two dogs out they went sprinting around the house. The next day we went on the four wheeler (I think I was the best). After we stayed there for three days we went home and played mine craft. The next week we did a thing were I went with my dad and all of the girls went with my step mum me and my dad went to see the new star wars movie the last Jedi it was really good. the last week we were there we had tons of movie nights it was fun we had popcorn candy and  fizzy. on Saturday we went to the airport we had some trouble but we made it. my strength is knowing about nature and being out side. my weakness is probably musical were I can do beats that well. I want to be able to go well with the beats. that I think will be my goal.

the things I like to do when I get home is video chat with friends. Another thing I like doing is riding my bike, watching movies,  riding cows, and taking photos with cows( my favourite cow number is 66 we named her Blackout because she is black with one white spot on her head)  . The reason I enjoy doing these things is because I live on a farm and don't have many people to play with. Sometimes my step dad Ted will play halo with me because he just had surgery and can't do milking for three weeks.

I've had ten pets five dogs one cat two fish and two frogs. the order I got them in was dog, fish,fish,frog,frog,cat,dog,dog,dog,dog,and dog. I've gone to Texas for a month with my family.
